Privacy policy
Last updated 26 August 2026
We hold very little about you, and the product itself holds nothing at all. Here is the detail.
This policy explains what personal data we hold, why, and what you can do about it. It covers ecomshoplaunch.com and the sale and support of our digital products.

Referred to below as “we”, “us” or “the seller”. The person buying is “you”.
We are the controller of the personal data described here, within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Visiting this website
The site is a set of static pages. We set no cookies, run no analytics, no advertising pixels and no tracking of any kind. We do not know that you visited.
Two things happen that you should know about anyway. Our hosting provider, Netlify, processes the technical request needed to serve the page, which includes your IP address. And the pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts a Google server and that server sees your IP address. If you would rather avoid the second one, blocking third-party font loading in your browser does not break the site.
2. Buying a product
Checkout runs on a third-party checkout provider, named at checkout and on your receipt. From it we receive the data we need to complete the sale and keep the records the law requires:
| Data | Why we hold it | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Name and email address | To deliver the files, answer you, and honour the refund guarantee | Performance of the contract |
| Country and, where given, tax or VAT identifiers | Because the tax treatment of a sale depends on where you are | Legal obligation |
| Order details, amount, date, transaction reference | Accounting and tax records | Legal obligation |
Card and bank details never reach us. They are entered on the payment provider's systems and we never see them.
3. Contacting support
If you write to us we hold your email address and whatever you put in the message, including any screenshot you attach, so that we can answer and so that we can see the history if you write again. The basis is our legitimate interest in running support properly, and performance of the contract where the message concerns an order.
4. What the product itself does with data
Store Check runs inside your Make account and the report opens in your browser. The store addresses you audit, the reports you generate and anything you type into the Fix Kit never reach us and are never transmitted to any server of ours. We have no way of seeing them.
The Fix Kit is a single file that works with no internet connection and stores nothing after you close it.
5. Who else processes the data
- Our checkout provider — checkout, payment and file delivery, named at checkout.
- Netlify — hosting of this website.
- Our email provider — receiving and sending support correspondence.
- Our accountant — statutory bookkeeping.
Each receives only what it needs for its part. We do not sell personal data, we do not share it for anyone else's marketing, and we do not profile you or make automated decisions about you.
6. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Some of the providers above are established in the United States, so data may be processed outside the EEA. Those transfers rely on the safeguards permitted by the GDPR, including the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, participation in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
7. How long we keep it
| Data | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Accounting and tax records of a sale | Five years from the end of the calendar year in which the tax was due, as Polish tax law requires |
| Support correspondence | Two years from the last message |
| Anything else | Deleted when the purpose it was collected for has ended |
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or hand it to another provider in a portable form. You can object to processing we base on legitimate interest. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting what was lawful before.
Write to support@ecomshoplaunch.com. We answer within one month. There is no charge unless a request is manifestly excessive.
We cannot delete records we are legally required to keep for tax purposes until that period expires — we will tell you if that is the case rather than quietly ignore the request.
9. Complaining to a supervisory authority
If you think we have handled your data badly, tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. Ours is:
Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych
ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, Poland
uodo.gov.pl
If you live elsewhere in the EEA, you may complain to the authority in your own country instead.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date at the top.
